11 Aug 2017

Professor Gannon of CBEH, and colleagues Dr Fan Yang, Dr Piers Dawes and Professor Ira Leroi at University of Manchester, have published their second health economics output of the EU H2020 SENSE-Cog project. The paper reviews all measurement tools of resource use and quality of life in clinical trials for dementia and cognitive impairment. They recommend use of CSRI (Client Service Receipt Information) and RUD (Resource Utilisation in Dementia) and for quality of life, use of DEMQOL, SF-12 and EQ-5D-5L.

Professor Gannon is Work Package Evaluation lead for the EU project, that seeks to find and test an intervention for people with both cognitive and sensory impairments.
