CBEH at American Society of Health Economists

Professor Brenda Gannon has organised a special session on ‘Cognition, Dementia, Health Care Use and Long-Term Care’ for the American Health Economics Society Conference (ASHEcon), to be held at Emory University, Atlanta June 10-13, 2018.

The session will include papers to be presented by Professor Gannon, (UQ), Professor Antonio Trulji (John Hopkins, Baltimore), Professor Rasmita Basu (Texas University of Technology) and these will be discussed by Dr Ian McCarthy (Emory University, Atlanta), Professor Sally Stearns (University of Michigan) and Professor Edward Norton (University of Michigan). The session will be chaired by Professor Gannon. 

Emory University is a strategic partner for global engagement with University of Queensland and this session will help further collaborations in economics of dementia research between the US and Australia.
